Nicole began riding as a child and showed competitively in Dressage through college. She came back to her favorite discipline of Hunters after completing her studies. She showed as an amateur in both Michigan and Illinois in the Hunter and Jumper rings, winning a year-end Championship in the Adult Hunters in 2003. Nicole began her professional career working for Tievoli Farm and Heide Casciaro later, moving on to Gem Stone Farm. In addition, Nicole is a former head coach of the Bethany College Equestrian Team as well as the former head instructor at Peace Point Equestrian Center in Bethany, WV.

Nicole has also managed an equine rehabilitation facility, working closely with owners, trainers and veterinarians to bring high performance horses back after suffering various injuries. She is an Equine Sports Massage Therapist and has studied Shiatsu, Reiki and Acupressure. Her current interests include nutrition and breeding.

Most recently, Nicole has been riding and competing her horses in Austria, Germany, Poland and Sweden. Her AQHA stallion, Snapper Peter Pan won the Landesmeister in Cutting in Berlin-Brandenburg, Germany in 2011. Nicole completed two Reitabzeichen in Germany and was awarded the Bronze Medal in Show Jumping by the German National Federation (FN) in 2011.

Nicole has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering and a Master of Arts degree in Education.
